Reese Witherspoon never gave a bad performance in her life; want to
check her out going full tilt in her early days, see "Freeway".*
Cutest damn nose I've ever seen on a girl in my entire life also.
What guy who ever saw "Legally Blonde" didn't want to knock that
bastard's teeth out for breaking up with her when she thought he was
proposing to her in the restaurant?
We'll have none of that, you heartless cad!
The line must be drawn, and by God, it's drawn right here!

"yes"....as that means you aren't going to go to hell, and it would be
alright to kill you. :-D

You know, 'proven' only means one thing.

You're obviously back to Stupid Usenet Tricks 101. If you've run your
mouth to the point where you cannot win, whine about how the guy
beating you about the head and shoulders is "a troll".

Time for you to run off with your tail between your legs, Lowther...

Sorry to disappoint you, but 'ether' was disproved. It's not
just a matter of 'ether' not being required.

Wrong, there just is a better model that contains predictions
which have been shown to be correct. But ether, like dark matter,
simply hasn't been detected. (Sayyyyyy, ya don't
think.......naaaahhh.)

The old description of "ether" was shown to be incorrect. String
theory has undergone several revesions. Maybe "ether" simply
needs a more accurate physical description.

BTW, the neurological source for religious experience has been
discovered: the left temporal lobe. Anti-epilepsy medications
have been found to turn off these experiences. In the bible,
Paul, on the way to Damascus, was struck by lightning. This is
known to trigger visions.

Yes, and the 'new' ether turns out to have zero relevance to the
predictive power of models. It adds nothing by its presence and
subtracts nothing by its absence. Hence it is irrelevant (not
'disproved') and is not science (not 'disproved').

Again, learn something about science...

Already done. Anyone who claims that any use of the term "such-and-such

doesn't exist" is religious bigotry, and who then goes on to bleat about
what scientific terms mean... well, of all the possibilities of what
that guy is, "troll" is the optimistic one.

Nonsense. The scientific method says to be skeptical (on both the
existence, and non-existence of God).

And so Lowther once again demonstrates his absolute lack of reading
