least halfway willing to entertain the possibility that they're
totally wrong.

Besides, if the J-C Bros were really serious about their theories,
they'd have had Ilona Staller write the intro and sign it with a

We should create an award for Geo- something reflecting that, while he is a
kook, he's a *classy* and honorable one, with style. The I Emulated Geo Tin
Hat with gold highlights and a feather. Geo, of course, not only gets the
first one, he gets a set of peacock feathers.

Speaking of kooky ideas, I just watched NOVA's First Flower. It seems that,
genetically, roses are very close to squashes, and strawberries are very
close to marijuana. Thus, I soon expect to see an industry arise offering
strawberry essence drops for glaucoma sufferers.

A less charitable person might conclude that you, Scott, OM have made it
impossible for Gio to recant. Once he admits that the J-C brothers'
claims are gross exaggeration at best and fraudulent at worst, his claim
to fame will disappear.

....Not really. Even the Pope finally admitted Gallileo was right, and
the Catholic Church didn't collapse because of it.

....Somehow he's never come across as one who's in it for the "fame" or
"recognition". Geo actually appears to be serious in his beliefs,
although his faith is somewhat misguided and unjustified. Unlike most
trolls, who care less about the fact that their theories and claims
are nothing other than complete and utter bullshit save for the fact
that by sticking to their insanity they get their rocks off
masturbating to our angst.

Dave,
I am a former test pilot and a VP for an aerospace company. I started flying
in 1971. I have been around for a while, you see. I don't need any fame,
Internet or otherwise and certainly not one by association with anyone. I
know the Judica Cordiglia brothers, their father knew mine, and I firmly
believe that what they claim is true. I have corresponded with people who
were in military intelligence and who confirmed the fact that these events
actually happened (except Ilyushin's flight, which, by the way, was NOT
tracked by the Judica Cordiglia brothers and for which I have not received
independent confirmation). End of story.
Take care,
Giovanni

"History" as a story nerver ends, it is a dynamic process driven
by personal curiosity, passions, and quest for legacy. As such,
this discussion is a genuine part of that process.

Now, we can move it along even further, Giovanni, if
you pass my name and email along to the people you
corresponded with, or ask them for permission to
posthumously publish their letters, when the time comes.

You really shouldn't sit on that stuff and tease, "I've - got - the -
proo--ooff .. but-I'm-NOT-gonna-SHOW-you-u-u-u-u-u-u..."

That doesn't move the process along at all.

One of them has been trying to get the story declassified for years, without
success. I am sure he/she would not want it revealed even after his/her
death, without the proper clearances.
The other one thought the matter had been declassified when he spoke to me.
I know from my FOIA request to the NSA that the matter is still
classified.."because its disclosure could reasonably be expected to cause
exceptional damage to the national security." (Direct quote from the NSA
response.
I certainly don't want to get him/her into trouble...
The third person probably reads this NG anyway, so it's up to him/her to
come forth.
I am not teasing, after all the best evidence is on line and is the one
provided by the Judica Cordiglia brothers, and they are not affected by any
NSA restrictions. In the past, I provided the names of people at NASA who
dealt with the Judica Cordiglia brothers in the sixties and someone with the
right contacts at NASA could have tried to trace them (but did not!)....that
would have moved the process right along.....
Cheers,
Giovanni
